6 Pdr marked W.N.Y [Washington Naval Yard] 5-1904. Bulbous body with traces of red paint. Bulbous body with traces of red paint. Very flared top. Early Dirk Van Erp work, so no windmill marking on the headstamp. H. 9" .

201-1 DIRK VAN ERP

6 Pdr Hotchkiss marked 1891. Notice that the hammering begins at half-lenght up. Slightly bulbous top pinched, crowned by a flowing edge. Early Dirk Van Erp work so there is no windmill mark on the headstamp.
